Tech Surge

Tech Surge is a made up word for what the Government does to fix a website that cost 100 times more than it should have and took 3 years to build.

The President announced a "Tech Surge" to fix the Health Care Website after the primary contractor was unable to complete the website for $196 million.

The defining moment when on facebook that you feel like facebook came alive and every one of your friends that are online are actually participating instead of just viewing pics and laughing at inside jokes, but then the scocializing stops in a way that feels like if facebook died.

This is rarely experienced by pretty girls who go to middle school, high school, college, and bars to hook up. This is due to the fact that it is uncommon for these people to not have a minimum of 20 friends online at any given time and also since these are the people who write the inside jokes and post the above mentioned picture.

Facebook went from alive to really slow at 3 am? Ah, yes. The F- Surge. Have you tried adding more chicks on your account?

smartphone surge

This slang term refers to the increase of screen time caused by owning a new smartphone. This phenomenon is mainly caused by a) long-term screen time increase caused by longer battery life, b) short-term screen time increase caused by making initial setting on the new smartphone, where the screen time is to return to normal durations once the smartphone has been on your hand for a while, c) having not installed AppBlock (a mobile similar to the Chrome extension to block websites) on the new smartphone, even though having had one on the last previously owned smartphone.

Ever since I got my new phone, I’ve been experiencing a serious smartphone surge—I can't stop scrolling, and my screen time is through the roof!

Content Surge

When you're into a certain type of content or are looking for such content (usually subscribed to a collection) and have very little luck with finding them since they're either too obscure or just are just stale in quantity, then suddenly you come across a lot of it at once when you search one day, akin to finding a hidden goldmine full of what you love.

Day 1: Meh, I looked everywhere, there's almost no coop maps for Gmod on the workshop, it's just a bunch of fnaf saves or meme maps.
Day 2: Holy shit I decided to search in a new tricky way using Google search tricks and also searched in other hidden places such as forums and archives and found huge amount of collections, reuploads, mega, mediafire and dropbox links, FULL of forgotten coop maps, it stacks up to like around 1000+ maps! HOLY SHIT what a content surge! I don't know what to start with! I'm so excited!
