Blowin' In The Wind

A metaphore used to express death. When you are cremated into ashes and your loved ones release your ashes into the wind. But you're not supposed to picture it that way; you picture someone you know who is dead and vizualize them standing untill his/her bodie truns to ash and blows away.

An example from 2pac's "Keep Ya Head Up." I'm Tryin' to find my friends, but their "Blowin' In The Wind." Meaning that they're dieing off..

icepick boxing

Icepick boxing was invented in 1818, during Sir John Franklin's first arctic expedition, as a way of rationing out quickly-shrinking supplies and to provide a sort of morbid amusement to break the bleak tedium of the freezing north. It spread from there, basically, and now enjoys a dedicated and growing group of enthusiasts world-wide.

The ring traditionally consists of a foot-high circle of snow placed on the ground, in a nod to the sport's roots. However, many variations, from boxing-ring style stages to lava moats, exist.

Contenders are covered in thick, mantled greatcoats, heavy pants, and steel-toed boots. Fancy hats are encouraged, but not required.

Hey, you guys? It's pretty chilly up here on Mt. Everest. We should start a round of icepick boxing to keep warm!

Blyxing

Blyxing is a self-harm "technique" in which the self-harmer pushes a sharp object (such as scissors, a knife, etc.) into their bellybutton. This usually induces a great pain in the user. While mostly unknown, some self-harmers prefer blyxing over cutting because no visible marks are left behind (though some are probably left inside the bellybutton) so a self-harmer could blyx unnoticed for an extremely long period of time.

Ryan: I heard you found out your girlfriend was blyxing, dude.

Matt: Yeah I walked in on her pushing a pair of scissors into her bellybutton, it almost made me cry.
