Most people focus on the construction aspect and miss that flipping is really the objective of buying the house, keeping renovation cost low enough to make a profit and selling it as quick as possible. Most investors try to sell the house before the have to make payments. Some investors purchase property and sell it to someone else while still under contract. This is the ultimate flip. Selling something you don’t even own yet, and in many cases, have never been to or had in possession.
“Flipping the script” is to change the way things are turning out abruptly. Taking a situation that is not beneficial to you and making it beneficial quickly, often with a swift action or event.
