Guffman Moment

When someone, or a group, acts as though they are doing something amazing, or phenomenal, or "really meaningful" or important, when to everyone else they are just humiliating themselves.

Based on the characters in the movie, "Waiting for Guffman," or any of Christopher Guest's ensemble films.

My biggest Guffman Moment was in high school when I auditioned to be one of the male cheerleaders, while wearing a self-designed costume with puffy sleeves and gold lame' short shorts. At my 20th reunion, they were still teasing me about it.

At some point George Bush is going to realize that his whole life was a Guffman Moment.

when you do something or say something that makes no sense and after a minute your friends tell you that you messed up.

when in a video game you have 25 bullets shoot 1 bullet run to enemies base reload and then die... this is a dan moment

Nrw moment means, if you are from nrw (state in germany) and you say something really dumb, someone has to say "nrw moment" or else the situation is uncomfortable.

Nrw-member: "Das ist eine Berliner"
Some really smart person: "NRW MOMENT!"

Vlasis moment

It's similar to bruh moment with the only difference that bruh moment is used for something "bruh", something that makes us feel bad, stupid, awkward, unlucky, foolish etc.

Vlasis moment is used for everything that Vlasis says.

Example for bruh moment:
-When is Carti dropping a new album?
-Didn't you hear? Carti died yesterday...
-Bruh moment.

Example for Vlasis moment:
-Bro, Vlasis just bought some shoes for disabled people so that he can resell them for triple the price!
-Vlasis moment...
