A trap is not synonymous with a transgender female, or even crossdresser.
The closest synonym would be femboy, however they aren't necessarily the same things
There are cases where someone will describe themselves with all four of these titles, as well.
Trap is derogatory when used with a trans woman or trans feminine individual who has not stated it is a label they use.

Description of a fictional character, that was written by the writer to deceive people into thinking that they are the opposite gender.
Entirely used in order to deceive people.
Depending on the trap, it is also a femboy, but you don't know that until later. Purposefully. Due to the author.
