Slappy Man

A large inflatable tube with arms to mimic a humanoid shape, usually made with brightly-colored synthetic fabric and cartoon facial features. It is generally used as an advertising gimmick outside of storefronts due to the attention it draws with its wavy motions caused by moving air.

We saw a 20 foot orange Slappy Man outside the mattress store advertising a clearance sale.
