A believer in a political doctrine that emphasizes individual liberty and a lack of governmental regulation, intervention, and oversight both in matters of the economy whilst being an advocate of democratic politics.
The libertarian-democrat advocated for universal healthcare via voluntary means. They believed healthcare shouldn't be regulated by the government. They also suggested that government should fundraise to underwrite healthcare plans for those who couldn't afford them in the interim as prices of healthcare plans dropped (thanks to competition) & the diversity of options (thanks to the paucity of support from the government of the medical-industrial complex and thanks to competition) increased.

1.) very misunderstood group of individuals
2.) The true political party of America
3.) polar opposite is the Independent party
4.) Not heartless individuals we just have a "can do" attitude and we are not here to "save the world".
5.) instead of outright banning things, we realize vices are not going anywhere and we are just going regulate how they are used.
6.) not right or left and not the republican party.
In short, todays libertarian party desire is for an America that is not plagued by social issues. such as gun control, gender identity, rent control, income equality, substance abuse, government over reach such as pandemic response, and closing the national parks during a government shut down. Specific government agencies we would like to see dismantled are the ATF, DEA and FEMA. We believe that the states should have more local authority and should have more resources so the federal government will not unless absolutely necessary have to step in.
Many people feel libertarians want chaos when simply that is not the case. We wont completely dismantle the government and social programs we just don't want the needs of the very few to complicate society.

Libertarian: how bout, it's none of our business who gets an abortion, and we should leave roe vs wade alone and be on our way. This is necessary ignorance!
Democrat: I want gay marriage legal
Republican: No god will hate us all

Bottom Up Libertarianism
A new political platform dedicated to improving the quality of life of Americans based on inalienable rights of human beings, while at the same time allowing it to flourish as a leading world power. This is an alternative to the current two party system that merges the most admirable values/policies of both parties, thus fostering cohesion and unity.
The number one priority of Bottom Up Libertarianism is ensuring freedom of all Americans. This includes freedom of speech, religion, right to bear arms, choice over one’s body, and a completely free market. With less restrictive market regulations, corporations will be able to be able to focus on innovation to strengthen American GDP.
The next priority of this platform is acknowledging that social inequality exists but that focusing on identity politics is not a remedy, but rather a catalyst for further division. Instead, taking an economic perspective on solving this inequality is a more effective approach. If a certain demographic group lacks opportunity, enforcing action to correct this directly will end up causing adverse effects on the rights of not only other demographic groups, but the rights of the individual. The solution on this matter is to utilize economic resources to channel capital into the institutions and infrastructure of underprivileged communities based off of data analytics to set them up for a brighter future. This in turn will spur growth across all classes of America.

A person who feels that they should have the freedom to be a racist, misogynist homophobes without the hassle of being criticised. Obviously because despite being critical of others they are also a poor sensitive snowflake.
