Basking Ridge

A rich misunderstood town. People who live there know that most of the kids are dumbasses and there are a lot of kids that have cut at one time or another. Half the town is rich and the other half either lives in the condos of Society Hill or somewhere else. A lot of the kids are preppy and even more of them live in the hills and wear A&F but think they are ghetto and try to act black. You know you're really in Basking Ridge when you see kids with popped collars and kids trying to be cool and "ghetto". There are also a ton of bands and Basking Ridge does have a ton of nice people, they're just a bit insane and misunderstood, yes misunderstood. Live there for your whole life and you'll know what I mean.

'Yeah I'm so ghetto''You're not ghetto, you're white and you wear A&F and pop the collar.'

Basil

a name for a boy that indicates they are of the sensitive nature; typically likes reading and the arts...a right side of the brain type of person; pulls off the soft boy aesthetic with ease. Has soft slightly curled hair that smells like mint. Wardrobe consists of knitted, oversized sweaters. Is not fragile about their masculinity. Is someone you can go on adventures with or spend the entire day lounging around, Basils have a way of bringing a tender touch of life into any scenario.

After ten years of marriage, still remains the cute husband you met when you were 17. Looks very cute grocery shopping and sorting through the organic market's fresh selection of herbs. Make you love domestic life because as stated earlier, can literally add life to any situation.

If you know a Basil, throw away all preconceived notions and marry him (regardless of your gender).

Girl: My husbando took me to an art museum for our twentieth anniversary. Afterwards, we listened to some lofi pop in cafe while it rained outside.

Baskin Donuts

The term coined for combination Baskin Robbins/Dunkin Donuts franchise stores usually open 24-hours. Term popularized in Mundelein, IL but spreading throughout the North Shore. Often a late-night hangout for people aged eighteen and under, but sometimes visited by college kids who are on their school vacations.

"There's nowhere in this town to go this late."
"Well, there's always Baskin Donuts."
"Yeah, I guess I can handle another sundae."

basking ridge

A really cool town in New Jersey. As seen in previous definitions, a common theme in this town is just to make fun of it and hate on it. These people are idiots and have nothing better to do. It is a cool town with cool people for the most part and is within driving distance of lots of good things to do.
