When a circle of friends or confidants are gathered and due to recreational use of 'rockin a bowl' one is quick to make shift a towl like structure usually circular in shape that is dampened for a quick and easy pipe shine so the carbon dioxide built up on your bubble pipe can be wiped. Cause if the pipe is passed and that black shit on the pipe accidently rubs off or touches someones article of clothing or personal item, the person who doesnt wipe will be exiled or kicked outta rotation, very similar to the unspoken rule of thumb with a joint '(puff, puff, pass)
