Bandwagon Bro

A person who temporarily adopts fandom of a team because of a close friend or family member who also likes the team. It’s done in a positive spirit of all wanting to root for the same team.
Ask Steve if he wants to go the game, I know he doesn’t care about Basketball but he’s a Bandwagon Bro and will have a lot of fun and cheer for the team like they’re his favorite.

—I told Lou the other day we should buy one of those hot new NFTs together, the one they say it's gonna skyrocket before long, but he said NFTs in general bored the heck out of him and he wasn't interested whatsoever.
—No surprise... He's never interested in hot new shit.
—Yeah, he's such a bandwagon virgin.
