Bubble People are exactly that... people who live in a bubble. They do not, cannot or flat refuse to believe that their experience(s) and existence can be VASTLY different from other folks’ experiences and existence. They do not “see” racism or sexism. They most likely have some form of privilege, be it race or gender or status.

Friend 1: Why is the gate not open?
Friend 2: Because Angelica is here today.
Friend 1: Why does that matter?
Friend 2: Because she has that bubble of immunity around her.

When a group of students at a private school do believe that they are 'the shit' and seem to believe the world owes them. This minority is generally confused to be what every student at a private school is like but that is not true.
#1: Those guys over there are definitely in a Private School Bubble.
#2: Yeah definitely, he refused to get the public bus because he was scared of being stabbed.

Someone that lives in a mollycoddle bubble where nobody can burst it, just like the one their mother made for them as a kid to protect them from everything.
As much as she hated being alone, the bubble girl wanted everyone else, especially athletes (the people she most likely wanted to be like or most like as a kid besides a military or royalty/authority figure, someone with power/influence and riches) to live in an enclosed bubble, isolated from the rest of the world, and especially reality (which she saw as negative based on her own experience despite claims of being a boundless optimist, mostly due to people rejecting her/not paying her any mind or respect). She was always encouraging people to isolate and give away/surrender anything or anyone they loved or held sacred, mostly because she wanted to see what it was like to hold something sacred for once (which would be a foreign experience for her, perhaps it would be fun or exciting, like visiting another town/state/country or learning a local language or dialect and trying to earn her local stripes there for the sake of locking it down then walking/trampling over the rights of everybody there in the end, and hoping nobody would see right through her in the process).
