Nerd

A person who knows almost everything about the subjects that interest them, but who have poor or non-existant social skills AND no fashion sense.

Commonly confused with geek and dork, but is different.

"My math teacher has been single for 8 years. Considering he always wears plaid shirts and striped pants with floral neckties, I understand it. Who would want to date a nerd like that?"
