To be the type of person who sleeps on other people's couches meaning you sleep with your feet out because the blankets too short or the couch is too short.

verb - meaning to use better tactics than one's opponent. Most common context is in football/soccer.

First used by British football manager Sam Allardyce, who was pleased when he "out-tacticed" then Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.
