A style of hip-hop based around a devilish jazz loop. While at its extreme fawned by concious rappers trapped in the 90's, some of the most beautiful jazz rap tracks have been violent.

An indie band from the early 90s who were very influential to the emo scene. Broke up in 94, reformed as "Owls". Amazing band.
