Cheerleader

Wow. I swear, I have never met a group of such naive and prejeduced people before. All you believe are stereotypes! Here is the real definition of a cheerleader:

A person who simply enjoys cheering. I myself am not a cheerleader, but I know several girls who are, and none of them sleep around, nor are any of them bratty or spoiled. They like to cheer, just like people like to write, draw, or swim. Just because you don't cheer doesn't mean you should bash it. Everyone on here claims to be so open minded, but none of them hesitate to slap a label such as 'slut' 'prep' 'richgirl' or otherwise onto people who are human beings JUST LIKE THEM.
As for it not being a sport, I believe that it deserves to be called one. You have to be extremely flexible and spend hours each day practicing and stretching to do the flips, pyramids, and formations that cheerleaders do. When you can do a backhand spring, back flip, and hold up a girl that weighs as much as you do, all the while smiling, then you are free to call it what you want.
So please, before you bash these people and their hobby, think for a minute...are you really acting any better than what you are calling them?
I went to the basketball game to watch Alice play and her sister, Brittany, cheer. I thought they were both good, and they were both sore but happy afterwards.

cheerleader

Okay, so my friend sent me like a link to the cheerleading definition and I think it's totally wrong. I'm a cheerleader and i'm not stupid at all. I actually try hard in school and I plan on going to FIT. Just because I have blonde hair, school spirit, cute friends, and an amazing boyfriend doesn't mean that i'm an airhead. Just because my parents have money doesn't mean that i'm a spoiled person. They worked hard for it and they choose to treat me because I deserve it. &; Lastly, are you people serious? I think that maybe before you all be so judgemental you should at least have evidence or something to back your claims, bub. k? thanks :)
Just because she's a cheerleader, doesn't mean she's an idiot or a slut.

cheerleader

Someone, male or female, who decides to join a cheerleading squad and makes it on the team. Being a cheerleader has nothing to do with one's snobiness or who they sleep around with. Also, contrary to popular belief, not all cheerleaders are airheads. I'm a cheerleader and I'm going to Harvard on academic scholarship.
McKenzie and Rachel are cheerleaders for MTSU.

cheerleader

---A real cheerleader (who is in it for the sport and friendships, not for the title) is a well-rounded ATHLETE. They have to be healthy and strong to be able to yell, throw, fly, kick, tumble, dance, and do sharp motions. A good memory and coordination along with charisma are also included in the long list of "needs" to be a cheerleader. Again, a REAL cheerleader is willing to help others, has to maintain high grades, and have a good attitude towards anything and everything. They have to be willing to make new friends. These are the ones who are nice to people no matter who you are.

---The "cheerleaders" who are just in it for the title are typically the ones who give cheerleading a bad name. These are the ones that cause the term cheerleader to be associated with slut, whore, preppy bitch, and hoe. These so-called "cheerleaders" normally walk through the halls like they are royalty. Thanks to them, the REAL cheerleaders are misjudged and wrongfully stereotyped.
(after practice)
true cheerleader- "I'm going straight home to practice that new cheer we learned."
fake cheerleader- "Like, time to go get my nails done, and then go hang out with my friends!!!"

cheerleading

A competitive team sport involving lifting, jumping, tumbling, and dancing. Commonly mistaken for the shouting and jumping preformed on the sidelines of a football/basketball field/court(the girls who do this are considered an embarrassment to cheerleaders who actually organize their teams and preform at games as an actual team.). Cheerleaders rehearse and preform a two minute and thirty second routine where they display their skills of stunting, jumping, tumbling, motions, dancing, and execution.
