Response given when someone asks how your day is going. can be used in present, or past tense. Typically given when you don't want to lie, but also don't want to outright state how bad of a day you've had. This response would be given with a negative connotation.

Friend: " Hey, How's your day going?"
You: " Oh, you know, its been a day."
