A name given to a person that expresses basic common knowledge about a subject, by a person that doesn't know shit about fuck on said subject.

Me: Hey Edgar, maybe you should just check to see if the outlet is blown before you start taking apart the DJ's mixing board.
Edgar: Oh dang man, that actually worked! Quit being such a know-it-all, you're making me look bad.

the sandwich of knowing is a form of platonic group cuddling, where basically one person cuddles next to someone they know, who in turn cuddles also next to someone they know, so everybody is cuddling someone they know. it's a sandwich of knowing!

the birthday rule that everyone knows

The rule stating that if you are dating someone or "talking" to that person, you cannot make them choose any plans for future engagements within 10 days of their actual birthday. UNLESS that person requests to make the plans. All other plans must be made by the person whose birthday is not within 10 days.

Dylan: Caroline, you have to make the plans for what we do tomorrow.
Caroline: No I don't you ginger, my birthday is in 8 days and its the birthday rule that everyone knows.
