Epic gamer

An epic gamer is a person who possesses great knowledge of video games.
Typically, an epic gamer will only plays video games that are:
- not played primarily by people under the age of 15
- not free-to-play
- not made by EA, Activision, or Epic Games
- difficult to beat
- available on Steam

A: Have you heard about the new Fortnite update?
B: I don't care about shit games for kids.
A: Wow, I didn't know you were an epic gamer...

Struggle Gamer

Anyone who doesn't have any paid games on their consoles and searches an online game store for free games/demos to have fun on their consoles. These people always live in a house that is over 85 degrees

Pro Gamer Syndrome

A gamer who overestimates their gaming abilities thinking that they are a "pro gamer". Usually found in negative steam reviews in hard games such as Cuphead, Celeste etc. While these people could just turn on assist mode they instead write a negative review which helps nobody.

John definitely has pro gamer syndrome, he's such a noob but thinks he's a gaming god.

Earning your gamer's stripes is a bad thing. Gamer's stripes are the result of hitting a computer monitor or tv with enough force to break the internal screen, whilst leaving the rest of the device intact.
