One whom others naturally and sometimes inexplicably turn to with their problems. They "soak" up the "stains" of their issues, leaving the teller feeling better at having relieved themselves of bearing the burden of their problems alone. Usually an uninvolved party who is considered to have a more objective opinion of the situation.

Get the Sponge headmug. A Spunk Sponge is a predatory manwhore, most often found in clubs and bars and the end of the night. They prey on drunk, vulnerable men and particularly drunken soldiers. They’re always ugly and usually hideously fat, often with severely over-developed body hair. They seek and devour every single drop of man-fat possible, leaving their victims drained and weak. An attack by multiple Spunk Sponges (leading to a Jizz-Frenzy) can be fatal; with death caused by dehydration.

From an organic perspective, those emotive complexes attributable to relinquishment of semi-permeable barriers. Usually a sensory experience will induce the physical sensation. Such stimulants can include (but are not limited to) the following ~ mindful/present attention of one person to another without distraction, children’s reactions to things that make them smile, puppies, a beautiful sunset, an olfactory stimulus that pulls on memory, well played music, anyone performing sports, dance or movement of any kind when done exceptionally well, etc etc. Frequently people experiencing “sponge heart” do so when ensconced in the love cloud.
