A universal music channel that vastly plays popular music from the USA. The interesting part is the global music, the short bits on the artists and condensed culture shows.
I personally don't care for repetitive popular american music so it's refreshing to listen to music I've not heard before. Life before imf consisted of ignorance to the evident tasteless music of South Africa. Worth checking out for cultural diversity.

Get the rosa international middle school mug.Any college's reputation comes down to opinion, some opinions more qualified than others.
And I understand if current/past FIU students want to call this school 'prestigious' or 'excellent,' but
that's more a showing of school loyalty than any type of objectivity.
This school by virtually any sense is a safety school in Florida. It is that "I didn't get into any other four year universities so, ugh, I guess I will go here" type of school.
It has a better reputation than some of Florida's community colleges but it's hard to say anything more positive than that.
U.S. News Report is generally respected as the leading authority on how colleges measure up. I think that is the first source people consult when comparing universities and deciding where to apply or enroll.
These are the most recent U.S. News rankings of some recognizable national universities.
University of Florida Rank 42
University of Miami: Rank 46
Florida State: Rank 81
University of South Florida: Rank 140
University of Central Florida: Rank 171
Nova Southeastern: Rank 198
Florida A&M: Rank 207
Florida International University: Rank 216*
Although FIU ranks in last place among the listed schools, it is actually a marked improvement from not even making the list in years prior to 2018, and it has surpassed some community colleges.
However if you pay no mind to the leading assessor of college quality, then maybe you can be proud to go here, I don't know. Just my opinion anyway.

Get the international kissing day mug.A (usually) 2 year diploma programme of education infinately better and better established than A Levels.
Consists of 6 chosen topics from groups, along with the compulsory 150+ hours of CAS (Creativity, Action, Service), 4000 word Extended Essay and a Theory of Knowledge essay and presentation.
Each topic is marked from 1 - 7, with an extra 3 points being added for performance in CAS, TOK and EE, with a total of 45 points achievable.
Considered Hellish and extremely difficult for some, others (myself included) really appreciate it. It Challenges you, and can either encourage you to become really organised or really lazy. May lead to extensive Procrastination (world of warcraft in extreme cases) and lack of a social life. Or alcohol abuse, depending on how you cope with stress.
Good points are that it is an internationally recognised qualification, and is equivalent to up to 7 'A' Grades at A level, and some higher level subjects (Sciences and Maths for example) are considered so advanced, that certain University's view them as almost degree level.
Another good point is that it can give you the opportunity to meet people from all over the world (especially at international schools) and can definately broaden your horizons. And it teaches you bullshit oh so effectively.
Lying becomes a way of life, sleeping becomes a luxury, Relentless and Pro Plus become your Gods, and eating just isn't necessary.
