They call each other the nicknames of 'Dustybun' and 'Suziepoo'. Dustin is best friends with Steve Harrington. Dustin and Steve have a mother-son relationship in the show, which is so heartwarming. Gaten had made his own middle name for his character, Dustin. The Duffer Brothers had not told him to make Dustin a middle name, but he did anyways. He says Dustin's full name is 'Dustin Clarence Henderson'.
