FODGE

New Chevrolet or GMC truck that looks like the General Motors designers decided to take the lazy way out and raid the Ford and Dodge parts bin.

Is that truck the new Ford, the grill and headlights sure look like a Ford. Or maybe its a Dodge, looks like the doors and tail lights are a Dodge, I am not sure what it is, it must be a Fodge!

The term is applied regardless of compositional talent or actual technical proficiency. Use is generally restricted to Internet guitar discussion boards and occasional letters to the editor of magazines such as Guitar World.
