A cheaper and easier way of marketing new music rather than music videos. It's a new trend that is getting popular by many artists such as Katy Perry. Rather than being amateurly done, these videos are done professionally thus more appealing to watch. They consist of pictures in a slideshow fashion with a lyrics overlay.

Person 1: Dammmn dude did you see the new official lyric video to Iyaz's song Solo?
Person 2: Yeahh man it was sweet!

Pissed Off Video Gamer

An obscure AVGN rip-off that appeared around 2009 who is believed to be russian, although he claims to be Jewish. He is well known for having a thick accent, being morbidly obese, calling the Nintendo GameCube "ShitCube", saying that GameCube discs look like fucking chocolate chip cookies, not being able to take criticism, having long awkward pauses in his reviews and obviously ripping off the Angry Video Game Nerd.

Guy1: The Irate Gamer is the worst.
Guy2: Really? Well, he's god compared to the Pissed Off Video Gamer.

(TELEVISION JOURNALISM) video segment created by a specialized PR firm under commission from a company or government agency, that is made to look like a regular news segment. It is then submitted to news stations and run without attribution. In this way, the official opinion of (say) British Petroleum, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, or Regence Blue Shield is presented as journalism.

The practice is illegal, but fines are derisory, license suspension for the offender NEVER has happened, and all news networks and affiliates do it. Most do it a lot.

Medialink Worldwide is one of the largest producers of video news releases.

When VNRs are created for the government, they are called "informational news releases" and are typically made to justify policies of the current ruling party.

Accent Video

a viral trend mostly showcased on Youtube, Tumblr, or other popular social media sites demonstrating the accent or the slang used in the video of the maker's origin. This is usually done by reading off commonly known "mispronounced" words from a list to the audience or the video viewer.

"Hi my name is _______ I am from _______ and this is my accent video"

An unstoppable video that begins on a Web page, no matter what your browser settings for video auto-play are, and can only be stopped manually. The most insidious versions can't be stopped at all.

CNN has started using videopharts. Doesn't matter how you set your browser, they load and begin playing automatically until you manually shut them off.
