The act of not upvoting for an arbitrary reason and declaring it to the world. Typically results in no praise and the karma blocker looking like an asshole.

Jack: "I would upvote, but the counter is already at 69, hahaha"
Bob: "Hey man, stop Karma Blocking and just give them their upvote"

Someone who says something that's unpopular, but needs to be said, on a message board that supports the concept of karma ratings. The person will surely lose karma for their statement, despite the fact that it's true and can't be worded differently.

i might be a karma martyr, but that girl needs to put on at least 20 pounds.

A theory created by girls. If a girl compliments other girls on Instagram enough then she will receive good comments from other girls on her own Instagram posts.
