Microwave inflation

When the cooking time of food needs to be adjusted to account for a weaker or stronger microwave.

The microwave at my dorm room is older than the one at my house, so when I make a bag of popcorn, I have to adjust for microwave inflation.

West Coast Inflation

Tendency of the west coast to overrate. For instance, if a show has rave reviews in Frisco you should wait until it gets as far east as Chicago before believing it.

Possible explanations include laidback, non-critical attitudes, drug use, and simply less exposure to good culture.

The term originated in the drum corps circle, where corps are numerically judged across the country and the scores coming from the west are disregarded.

Wow, these guys are supposed to be fantastic!

Don't believe the hype, it's just west coast inflation.

gatherings or events with big groups of asians in other racial dominated areas.

asians who are 'white(american) washed' usually run from these asian crowds to avoid stereotypes.

ex 1: those huge asian tour guides at theme parks (ie. Disneyland, Six Flags, etc)

ex 2:
Non-asian friend: WOW! There's a mob of asians! Asian invasion! Can you speak their language??!
White washed asian:...... JUST BECAUSE IM ASIAN..

ex 3:
a group of 9 asian friends get together with two white/spanish/etc friends.
white/spanish/etc friends: Asian invasion!
