A place that sells clothes.
People can shop at Hollister AND Hot Topic, just like the person writing this definition. It's not a place for posers to shop, just like Abercrombie isn't a place for posers to shop. If you like their clothes, and not Abercrombie/Hollister's, you shop there, and that doesn't make you a poser, people.
But some people shop there to seem 'unique', and it's just as unique as shopping at A+F. In a nutshell, it's a store that sells clothes, usually considered 'goth' or 'emo'.

Get the Hot Topicmug. A shop i am embarassed to now shop at bc of all the gay ass new "punk" trends. Hot topic itself is not completely poser-ish, just their gay ass band merch and the posers who shop their. On occasion you'll find a good shirt or something there.

Get the Hot Topicmug. Ok well its a big room in the mall that sells clothes and stuff! Hot Topic is a STORE people its not a freakin "poser hangout"! Hot topic is a store that sells music related items. I do admit it is a little bit overpriced ($40 for a hoodie WTF!!) but if you dont like it DON'T SHOP THERE! Personally I love Hot Topic. The clothes are pretty cute but some of them Suck ass. Do i consider my self "goth" , "punk" or "a rebel" because i shop there? NO!! I shop there becaue i, WHAT *GASP* like the stuff there! The only posers are the ones who think they are Fighting the System by shopping there. (by the way i am not some 11yr old stealing her daddy's credit card to buy some corset and be cool, my parents dont care where i shop and dont even let me use thier credit card)
