Pancake Slayer

Term used to describe a volunteer firefighter, often of the useless type, derived from the numerous pancake breakfasts put on by volunteer fire departments. A volunteer “firefighter” that spends most of their career cooking pancakes, and very little actually being a firefighter. Synonymous with Ketchup Dick.
