The much too stereotyped way of style. Many like to call "scene kids" rude and arrogant, but scene is simply a matter of clothing style and whatever you wear doesn't make you whatever the hell you are.
Scene style often consists of bright colors, funky & unique wardrobe (it honestly doesn't matter what the hell you think of the STEREOTYPED scene kid, their style is unique no matter what you think about "them"), vintage/band tees, and for the girls' scene style, Hello Kitty and other cute things like that.
Scene kids are douchebags.
Stop stereotyping them; you probably have never even met a scene kid and got this from some person on the internet.

Get the Scene mug.A style of being branched off from punk/punkrock. The difference is that scene is more aimed toward the emo style of life whereas punk just hated everything.
In all honesty we shouldn't shun these people who dress a certain way (Scene) because it's just clothing. And the "Emo" personality is brought on due to shunning them. Therefore the only way to slay the "beast" is by befriending the "beast". After that you'll end up bringing out the best. :

Child1: This scene kid is giving this lame effort to be different, when we know they dress all the same.
Child2: Okay? So he wears something some other people wear, you and I are both wearing American Eagle. We might not be trying to be different but we're just as "bad" as he is according to you. And how do you know he's trying to be different? Maybe he just likes the style of clothing? Even I think it's kinda cool.

Get the Scene mug.A scene kid is basically an emo kid without all the crying. Hairstyles: are usually black, sometime with blond and bright colors. Usually straightened and really BIG.Hairspray is a must. Short, choppy layors work for the girls, also side bangs. Baretts(might i suggest Hello Kitty?) and BOWS.Guys usually just straighten and everything is swept to the side. Apperance: Girls like to wear alot of eyeliner. Bright make-up. A scene girl usually wears skinny jeans or skirts. Tight t-shirts. Same with guys, but skinny jeans and a tight t-shirt. Sometimes a hat. Shoes: For girls, flats. Guys nike, converse, and vans. Same for girls. Music: A scene kid might listen to techno and house. Another might listen to hardcore techno, or just techno. Really whatever they're into. Lingo: They use really "hip" old-skool words as in rad. 80's lingo fer sure. When they're not being a scene kid: obsessing over they're apperance, perfecting their hair every moment, denying that they are so-called "scene kids", and taking pointless myspace pictures.Their myspace names usually begin with an adjective of the first letter in their name, in the back or front. i.e. Vicious Victoria, Rad Raechel, Danielle Dieing. How they act : A scene kid knows that they are scene but they will never say they are and will always deny. They act like 4 year olds and their God is basically Hello Kitty. They also love dinosaurs and adding letters after wordsss. Or just saying "Rawrrr" for fun.
Scene Kid (girl) : I hope I can be just like Audrey! *hairsprays*
Later on,
Rad Raechel: Your hair looks sooo stellar! We are so scene!
Danielle Dieing: NO. Follow the code.

Get the Scene Kid mug.A childlike person typically ranging from 13 - 17 years old
A person who thinks that acting like a baby that using a lot of slang and make-up is cool. They type messages in a confusing and illegible way, and they can take picures, edit them, and actually make it look like they're attractive when they aren't.
Their hair is over the top, and by thinking they're unique, they just fit in with the cliche even more.
Scene girls often state that they're bisexual when that is often not the case at all.

Get the Scene mug.First of all I would like to just point out that there IS a difference between scene and emo. All of the definitions make fun of scene people and are completely irrelevant opinions of judgmental assholes. So what if scene girls have choppy hair that covers up their face. IT IS HAIR. It does not matter. So what if they have face piercings, tattoos, or gauges. If that is how they want to look then let them. It is THEIR appearance and it doesn't matter what you think about it. Yes, typically boys might wear skinny jeans. IT IS PANTS. Why do you care what kind of pants they wear? Maybe they take a lot of selfies. So do a lot of other people in the world, including people who aren't scene. Maybe they take those selfies using a bathroom mirror. So does every fucking body else in the world. All scene kids aren't bitchy and self-centered. Yes. There are people who pretend to be scene and act like complete bitches who don't give a fuck about anything. People who talk like 'thugs' because they think they sound cool. Those people are called posers. And you have every right to bash out on them but not scene people. All I'm saying is so the fuck what if people dress a certain way, listen to a certain type of music, ect. ITS WHAT THEY WANT. SO. THE. FUCK. WHAT.
Fake ass scene people: Omfgg my hair looked totally sex when i went to da mall earlier homie. I prolly looked so cute becuz dis boi was starin me down
REAL scene people:normal people who dress differently and listen to different music than most other people but are human beings no different from you and me

Get the scene mug.Contrary to popular belief, the "Scene" style isn't new in any way. Scene was actually the creator of the "Emo" clique, and is only now being rediscovered. Scene has evolved into "Colorful Emos" as I have heard said around my community. Scene is essentially emo, minus all of the color and depression. Basically, they just like to wear the dark, tight clothing and occasionally, makeup. Besides their look, they have basic interests that a worldwide survey would deem "Normal".
