‘Dry’ is an expression used to say something is exact or that you are “deadass”.

Now in the first example person 2 didn’t respond with “are you sure you had the dream about me?” Because person 1 used ‘dry’ which told person 2 that he was dead serious about the dream.

Person 1: “Yo bro I dry had a dream about you”.
Person 2: “Really? What was it about?
Ex 2:

Person 1: “I dry caught your girl cheating on you”.
Person 2: “I KNEW I COULDN’T TRUST THAT BITCH”.
