Well kinda...
A frequently-stereotyped educational institution that often features a more diverse population than most people believe. Contrary to popular belief, not all boarding school students are snotty, preppy airheads and jocks. Not all are sent there as preparation for becoming trophy wives or CEOs. Boarding schools are not as weird and sheltered as they are portrayed to be (especially not for day students) and they do have significant value other than "getting the kids out of the way".
Many parents send children to boarding schools for high school because they feel this will better prepare them for college life. Others live in areas with poor public schooling systems and elect to send their children elsewhere, so they can have a better education. It may come as a shock to some that many boarding school students come from extremely rural areas or from so-called "bad neighborhoods" and are there on scholarship.
Living at a boarding school often puts kids in contact with people they would never meet otherwise, as students often come from all over the world. Interacting with people from different places and backgrounds generally broadens the students' minds and horizons. Dorm life requires that they learn to live with other people and to effectively resolve problems with roommates and neighbors.

Get the School mug.A high school where there's fights that break water fountains with the persons head, teachers arrested during class, teacher/coach affairs, boys who put fishhooks on their hats, moldy lunch food, constant drug tests, and principles condoning drug use as long as YOU are growing it.

You have to get your ass up early in the morning, in which you go to a building where you waste your time re-learning the same, useless, boring, repetitive crap everyday, it's worse especially since you eventually get tested on this shit, and if you fail and get a bad grade because you don't completely understand the concept in a matter of time, then oh well, which honestly defeats the purpose of learning in the first place.
Your rights such as using the bathroom, drinking, eating, or having a freewill in general are all of the sudden taken away by stepping into a room, however, it's fine when the teachers and administrators break these rules.
To make matters worse, after a whole day of pain and suffering, the teachers aren't satisfied, so they decide to give you homework to do during your free time instead of letting you relax.
Overall, school is torture, plain and simple.

I don't get it, we're required by law to go to school in order to get a job, if that's the case, then why don't schools teach us that type of stuff then? I understand we have to develop the basic skills of math, reading, etc at an early age, but as we merch into adulthood we should be learning about things we'll experience in adulthood.
