A thinly-veiled euphemism for trying not to hurt the feelings of certain groups of people.

A phrase to use when you want to make up some excuses that will be instantly understood by others that you are going to do something terrible, extremely laughable, or just plain idiotic.

1. Hey, boss, uh, after receiving many messages from gamers, I will not go to work today.

2. Earlier today, it was announced that the game Devotion is coming to GOG. After receiving many messages from gamers, we have decided not to list the game in our store.

For example, if one takes a thirst trap on snapchat, but didn't really improve their look and nobody slides up, they have only gone from an 8 to an 8.3 and need to do better.
