When your friend or significant other is using their phone while your talking to them, making it seem like they’re listening to you while in reality they are not hearing any of the information you are saying.

I told you last night that I was going but you obviously phone heard me, as usual.

An agent that operates some apparatus or machine; "the operator of the switchboard"

The action of getting caught across the classroom by the teacher with your phone out during class.

"Hey, why didn't you respond to my text?"
"Sorry, I got phone sniped by Mrs. Jones in English, and had to put my cell on her desk."

Phone Hawk

That's teacher/professor, who's always trying to catch you on your phone to either:
-Embarass you

-relieve you of your phone

-to hack and get on your SnapChat story

These teachers are relentless in their efforts, whether they show it/admit to it or not. They are also typically nearing the end of their careers and want to have some fun by taking kids' phones and holding it ransom while all the other students laugh and make fun of you because of how much of a sherm you are for getting it taken. These students can receive their phones after a well planned and thought out essay describing and emphasizing their weaknesses and deepest secrets. Then are shamed once again by being forced to read said essay in front of the class the next day. These essays are about 2000 words long.

Phone hawks will burn in hell.

"Mr. Johns is such a Phone Hawk bro, I can't even text my mom!"

"Ms. Everett is such a Phone Hawk! She made a kid cry after she took his phone!"

Phone Klutz

Somebody who is constantly butt dialing people, sending text messages to the wrong person, replying to the same text twice, not to mention they always drop it.

God, Lauren's such a phone klutz. She called me twice last night and each time i just heard the TV, she seriously needs to stop butt dialing people!

A period of time on the phone that goes quickly because your conversation is so riveting.

I was in the phone zone with my friend, talking about sports, for over 50 minutes. Man, did that time fly!
