Is there a word, an online friend queried, for that experience of knowing the perfect meme to fit an occasion, but being unable to find it? There is now. In the vein of the word "riposte," in the spirit of "es·prit de l'es·ca·lier" (a repartee thought of too late, on the way home), we bring you "la meme de perfection, mais perdue": that moment when you know the meme you want...you just can't find the meme you want. This sentence is intended to be used as an exclamation, for emphasis.
"My friend posted the most ridiculous article about Trump the other day, but I can't find the meme I want to reply with! La meme de perfection, mais perdue!"

Get the No Meme Daymug. this is most commonly used by clickbait youtubers. it is a means of scaring little children to make them want to like and subscribe.
a picture of a big spider is shown to you, and you are told to like and subscribe right now (sometimes you have to like and subscribe within the next 5 seconds, but it is usually right now) and if you dont comply, the spider shown in the picture will do one of the following:
be in your bed tonight
crawl on your face when youre sleeping
crawl in your mouth when your sleeping
etc
there wont actually be a spider in your bed, it is just a way of scaring little children. it doesnt hit as hard on older people who dont have arachnopohia

Get the Mackenzie Mememug. Meme immunity is when an individual has been exposed to every version of a meme and, therefore, it no longer seems as funny/interesting to them.
When meme immunity occurs for the majority of the online community, the meme is said to be 'out of date' or 'over-used'. At this point, many people start using the meme ironically.
People who have less exposure to memes often develop meme immunity later than everyone else.

Get the Meme Immunitymug. A meme is a stupid image or video that makes Gen-z kids or millennials laugh. When boomers see memes, they get confused, because the only thing boomers find funny are cringe ass Facebook posts and beating the shit out of their children.
Gen-Z kid: “lmaoooo YANKEE WITH NO BRIMMMM”
Millennial: “omg stop quoting memes those boomers are getting confused”
Boomers: “Why are you laughing? Did you just see a Facebook post about beating children? You must have because that’s the only thing that can make people laugh that much.”
