Void Theory

The metaphysical framework positing that all of existence emerges from and eventually returns to the Void—a state of absolute nothingness that is not empty but potent, not absent but foundational. The Void is not merely the absence of something; it is the primordial ground from which everything arises and into which everything dissolves. It is the silence between sounds, the darkness before light, the space that contains all possibility precisely because it contains nothing actual. In Void Theory, creation is not ex nihilo (from nothing) but ex nihilo—from the Nothing that is more than nothing. The Void is not a thing; it's the absence of all things that makes things possible. Every galaxy, every thought, every moment of being is a ripple on the surface of the Void, destined eventually to smooth back into its depths. This theory is both terrifying (we come from nothing, return to nothing) and liberating (nothing is permanent, so nothing is ultimately binding).

All the possessions, all the memories, all the love—they'd emerged from the Void decades ago and were now, slowly, returning. Void Ghidorah

An incarnation of King Ghidorah. Being the largest and most powerful version of King Ghidorah. Living in void, eating countless world millenias ago. While being followed by the alien Exif, Finding their way into earth, they struck a deal with the human who is in the brink of extinction by Godzilla Earth. Managing to manipulate the surviving human to summon Void Ghidorah to kill Godzilla Earth. Godzilla can't attack Void Ghidorah due to Ghidorah energy, but Void Ghidorah can attack Godzilla Earth. Before the humans realized that Void Ghidorah Will destroy their planet alongside Godzilla Earth, Captain Haruo Sakaki and his allies severed the Exif and Ghidorah link. Making Godzilla able to attack and banish Void Ghidorah from Earth.

Void Aero

A variant that fuses Frutiger Aero’s smooth textures with the abyssal aesthetics of voidpunk, voidcore, and the existential unknown. It replaces bright skies with endless darkness, but the darkness is rendered in glossy, reflective black—like obsidian, deep space, or the screen of a turned‑off OLED. Visuals include black holes with glassy event horizons, deep‑sea bioluminescence rendered in Frutiger’s trademark glow, and interfaces that seem to float in nothingness. Void Aero is popular among those who find comfort in the void but still want their digital spaces to look sleek.

the call of the void

the call of the void is the thought to jump off the ledge you are standing on; wondering what would happen if you drove your car into another car or person; it is the thought of "I could kill someone so easily right now" when holding a knife, hammer, or what have you. it is the insane desire of our unconscious, but it is nothing to worry about unless you relish and enjoy these thoughts.

last week i visited the grand canyon with my girlfriend. as we stood on a ledge and looked out over the world, the call of the void entered my head:

"one little nudge and she's dead"

i shuddered as the thought crossed my mind, and it left my mind as soon as it entered.

the call of the void

That voice in your head telling you to do what you shouldn't do, or what it would horrify you to do. Poe called it the "Imp of the Perverse". Freud called it the "Death Drive". It often seems sadistic or suicidal.
Being on top of a building and having the urge to jump.
Getting cut off on the highway and thinking about ramming the car in front of you.
Walking down the street with someone you like and thinking about shoving them into traffic.
Probably makes you feel guilty or insane, since a "normal" person wouldn't have these urges. It happens to almost everyone.

Every time I stand in front of a high window, I hear the call of the void. I could so easily break the window and dive out. It would be so peaceful once I landed and died.

Then I shake my head to try to get rid of the thought and move on. The thought doesn't go away, but I don't jump.
