For all you little assholes out there that down skateboarding, FUCK YOU! Skateboarding is fucking insane, BMX is a sport skateboarding is a way of life. It's a relationship to, in order for it to work you have to be at one with the board. Any other sport is just something that anybody can do. Oh and one more thing for the fucking skaters that skate and call all the other skaters posers. Without posers skateboarding would be nothing because the fact that 99.5% of skateboarding things are made for the nonskater and .5% are made for the skater, and that without posers the people that supplie the skateboarding nation with shoes and skateboards would never make it.

Just think we were all posers at one time or another.

skateboarding

A sport based on an athlete riding upon a wide, flat piece of wood with four wheels connected to the bottom. It is both a transportation method, as well as an art form/competitive style event. However, the novelty of skateboarding was obliterated during the turn of the 21st century as a result of several components including;
(1) Clothing brands, fashion accessories
(2) Skater-Punk music (i.e. Avril Lavinge)
(3) A stereotype tab that could be easily manipulated by the media to target teenagers (i.e. anti-drug advertisements, soda commercials)
(4) Video Games (i.e. Tony Hawk's series)
(5) MTV
(and much, much, much more)

Now, skateboarding, the "poseur"'s culture, has been reduced to something of a shambles, something that is despised by everyone. In turn of the culture being ripped apart so harshly by over-exposure, the sport itself is being thought of the same way.

And that is just goddamn wrong.

Maybe someday skateboarding will not have the strings attached to it, the aesthetic expectations, and the millions of rebellious children sucking on its proverbial teats. Hopefully pride will be restored to the once non-conformist sport.

Person A: Only poseurs go skateboarding.

Person B: That's what happens to the public's opinion when something is overexposed and milked dry.

girl skateboarder

a true girl skateboarder is one who doesnt skate just to pull boys or too look cool.. or to be like Avril.. a true one is who does it for fun and enjoys what she does.. and doesnt just up when they break a nail or get a grazed elbow... a true one atleast hows how to ollie (or even knows how to ride a board) and knows 10 other skaters rather then Bam margera and Tony Hawk.

fake: Bam margera hes the best and gosh hes soo sexy..
real: right right.. heard of rodney mullen?
fake: er.. noo.. oh god look at that guy other there hes sooo fit..im going to show he i can skate.. hes too fit and woo hes looking at me..im gonna go skate up to him.. *gets on board, starts to kick.. woops falls off board* Ouchh broke a nail.. worst day of my life!

skateboarding

skateboarding is a great sport to let ur emotions out...you can be mad sad happy or just wired...you cant get the same feeling like landing that new trick then u can in finding that rare stamp in stamp collecting...you could never get the real sensation of skateboarding unless your a skateboarder...

why arent u skateboarding rather than reading the definition??jokes....maybe its the same reason y im writing one?...

skateboarding started in the 70's misunderstood by common folk not many people will respect it till they try it. takes a lot of balls and determination i had to write an article to the local news paper because they labelled all skaters in our town annoying and trouble makers yeah right. stereotype

Skateboarding

An extreme sport that not any pansy can do as some fuck head said a few pages back, a sport that anyone can do however, is bmxing, remember, as a 7 year old your mother would ask you to ride your bmx down to shop to pick up some milk? Every fucking person in the world can ride a stupid bike, compare that to the amount of people who can even stand on a skateboard, let alone ollie up a kurb, LET ALONE KICKFLIP TAILSLIDE!

Any one can launch off a lump of dirt on a bike, cause the bike does all the work, but just ollieing on a skateboard is some pretty complicated physics shit that like less than 10% of the world can do.

Skateboarding is not a free ticket to being a cool rebel with chicks on both sides, it's only the best sport, artform or whatever you wanna call it, in the world.

And not all skaters are punks, most punks that I've seen just use a skateboard for transport but there are some awesome punk skaters out there. The majority of real skaters just dress casual or even gangster. I would never wear tight jeans cause loose clothing is so comfortable, but thats me.

Wow I really wanna go skating now, better wrap this up,

the greatest thing ever invented. all skaters are not dilenquents. all skaters do not smoke wee dal dday. skaters i think are the most judged by the world around us. we can barely do our thing without being yelled at by people or getting dirty looks. i hate it when they block off curbs and sh1t. aweeee am i gonna scrath the ground? f that. seriosuly, all you people who hate skateing, why are looking at this and calling it gay? i bet you cant even stand on a board, i mean seriously, i dont bmx and i can bunny hop? wtf. you guys cant do anything about us skaters. if anyone tries to stop us, we will unite and crush all of you. and anyone who thinks skateing is for fame, money, and women, your a poser and you should not be skateing. and all you bmxers suck. you should not make fun of skateing. skaters dont all listen to screamo death metal. skateing is a way of life. we dont hate on yours, so why do you hate on ours? skaters never bothered anyone until tony hawk became popular. the only reason some people know of skateing are those gay tony hawk games. skaters should be aloud to skate anywhere we want. and even if were not we will do it anyone. because we are BRAVE AND DONT CARE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK. which is what everyone else should be like. SKATE OR DIE.
