The Last Jedi

The eighth film in the main Star Wars saga, that divided Star Wars fans, with those who disliked the movie being extremely vocal on the internet, especially directing hate towards Rian Johnson, the director. Many fans have campaigned for Disney to remake the movie, with some petitions passing their signature goals by thousands. One thing from the movie unites fans however. The Canto Bight scene is really poor.

The Last great console

The Super NES was the last great of the greats. While there were other respectable consoles (Sega Master System, etc.) the SNES stands head-and-shoulders above them all. Utilizing the first real Interconsole Connectivity (a system of ideas that is still in employment today) the SNES beat down other companies with its ability to play Gameboy games with its Game-Genie-like Super Gameboy adapter.

Following up from their heritage of "Programmable Games" (excitebike, etc.), The system had Mario Paint, where hours could fall into nonexistance as you try to draw with the only mouse for a console available at the time, and for years to come.

There is so much amazingness packed into this gray-and-purple rectangle (With its own Eject button!)that its hard to see why gaming went and started to depend on graphical capabilities, but there is an explanation in the SNES itself.

Super Nintendo sowed the seeds of its own demise when Nintendo released StarFox with the SuperFX chip built into the cartridge, it was one of the first fully Three-Dimensional console titles, if not The First.

last piece of cheesecake

Wishing you knew when the end of the world is so you could have that last piece of cheesecake. In a more general sense the desire to do anything you generally deny yourself when it won't matter any longer to be thin, or rich, or whatever because the world is going to end.

I wish I knew when the world would end because then I would have that last piece of cheesecake.

the last five years

a musical play written in the late 90's by Jason Robert Brown. It tells the story of one couple's failed relationship told through the eyes of both the male and the female, Jamie and Cathy. Jamie tells the story in correct chronological order, whilst Cathy tells it in reverse order, starting with the "dear jane..." letter that is written to her by Jamie at the end of the play.

Coming in dead last in a swim race, i.e you finish so much later than everyone else, it's embarrassing. the people who are clapping are just glad you managed to finish so the meet can continue. while they clap for you, you must drag your ass out of the water (if you can) or someone else will haul you out.
