Final Fantasy

A series of popular, story-wise unrelated RPG video games that started back in the 80's. The name "Final" Fantasy was chosen becuase while Squaresoft, the company behind the whole series, had made games before for NES (Famicom in Japan), none of them were a great success, so they decided to make one last game. However, Final Fantasy turned out to be so good that they continued making more of them. There are a total of 16 actual Final Fantasy games (though the actual number is disputed) and 1 movie.

Final Fantasies 1, 2, and 3 were all for Famicom. 1 was released in America on NES. 2-6 were released on Super Famicom, but when 4 and 6 were released in America on the SNES, they were renamed Final Fantasy 2 and 3 for some reason. 7-9 were for the Playstation, and were named appropriately. Final Fantasies 4-6 were re-released for Playstation in two compilations (Final Fantsasy Chronicles and Final Fantasy Anthology), and later, 1 and 2 were as well (Final Fantasy Origins). 1 and 2 were re-released again for GBA recently. Final Fantasy 3 has yet to be released in America. Around the same time as FF7, Square came out with FFTactics, a tactical RPG. Later they released FFTAdvanced for GBA. FF10 and FF10-2 (the first true sequel in the series) were realeased for PS2. FF11 was the series' first MMORPG, and was released for PS2 and Windows.

Not all Final Fantasies were successes. Once, Square USA tried making it's own Final Fantasy, called FF: Mystic Quest, and it failed horribly. Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, the movie, flopped in theaters.

There are some old game boy cames, the Final Fantasy Legend series, but they are really part of the Mana series with changed names to attract American customers.

Several staples hold the series together, though the storyline of each one is totally separate from the others. Chocobos, black mages, moogles, cactuars, -ra and -ga level magic, and many other small but recognizable things are present in almost all of the games. The storyline in each later game in the series (mostly 6 and up) is deep and moving, usually involving struggles of love, friendship, good vs. evil, and self-discovery.

Now, Square Enix (as they are called after their merge with Enix, creator of Dragon Warrior) is working on their Compilation of Final Fantasy 7, which so far includes 1 prequel and 2 sequels (one of which is a movie, being released only on DVD and UMD this time around). FF12 is also in production, as well as Kingdom Hearts 2. FF13 will be released for the PS3.
Ryan: Final Fantasy 2 is the best in the series.
Jake: You mean 2 or 4?
Ryan: The one with Cecil and Kain.
Jake: 4. Gotcha.

Final Fanboy 7

A title apparantly given to fans of the "Final Fantasy" series who favor the 7th installment above the rest. Has risen about after the frustration caused by the 'overhype' of Final Fantasy 7, a game which partly defined our gamers and gaming (industry) today.

This term was one individual's label for the enormous mass of fans who sometimes ignorantly and obnoxiously plague the internet with thier annoyance while arising arguments from frustarted gamers with opposing views. The difference between a Final Fantasy 7 fan and a Final Fanboy 7 is, in most cases, one-sided ignorance.
Because it was my introduction to the series, and probably because it was the darkest of all the "Final Fantasies" I am a loyal fan to the game(FF7). However, because I am not pron to spam forums with ignorant and one-sided messages such as: Cloud/Sephiroth/Tifa is the Coolest/Hottest FF character EVER!!! I am not a Final Fanboy 7.

white female supremacist

Pseudoprogressive, pseudoliberal white women who claim to be agents of "equal rights" for men and women, but really couldn't give less of a shit about anyone who isn't a privileged, middle class white woman. Interchangeable with white feminists.

When discussing the gender pay gap, then white female supremacists only include themselves in comparison to white men, while leaving out that they make more than black, Latin, and Native American men AND women do. Will also endlessly shame a Native American woman whose biggest priority as a woman is to ENJOY the opportunity to stay at home and look after her kids without getting raped on her reservation YET AGAIN. I'm sure that it must suck to not get equal pay when you're not putting equal work, but perhaps the right to NOT get raped and enjoy a stable and steady life for your family without fear of them (especially the men) committing suicide, is just a LITTLE more important than getting equal pay, which is already granted for the same job.

COMPLETELY ignore the fact that there are areas that hurt men worse than they hurt women, such as poorer mental health treatment, higher suicide rates (men across ALL RACIAL GROUPS have higher suicide rates than EVERY SINGLE RACIAL GROUP OF WOMEN does), and not being taken seriously when on the receiving end of an abusive relationship with a woman. Will also blame EVERYTHING on white men when it's convenient, and men of color when they're pretending to ally with women of color.
Famous examples of white female supremacists, both in history and today, are Susan B Anthony, Taylor Swift, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Hillary Clinton, Ivanka Trump, Megyn Kelly, and Amy Schumer.

Native American women, who want the chance to stay at home and be nurturing to their kids as well as to their men, who are unfortunately at the highest risk of suicide, are "disgraces to their gender" according to white female supremacists.

Amy Schumer will talk about how black men are misogynistic perverts and all white men are evil oppressors while ignoring the fact that women of color tend to have more important issues than a mythical gender pay gap (such as not getting raped and actually LONGING for the privilege to stay at home and raise their kids) and then conveniently denying that she is a white female supremacist.

Final Fantasy VII

An epic low-fantasy RPG developed and published by Square (now Square Enix), and released for the Sony PlayStation console in 1997.

Frequently cited as one of the best video games of all time, FF7 was lauded for its massive size, depth of story, stunning visuals and unforgettable score, and is widely credited with popularising role playing games in the western world.

The game has since spawned numerous inferior sequels, prequels, remakes and spin-offs, none of which appear to have lessened its god-like reputation amongst enthusiasts.

The Final Signoff

When you signoff of AOL Instant Messenger and never sign on again. This usually occurs in the early to mid twenties when people decide that the AIM game has nothing more to offer them
It was late one night... I was drunk and going through my buddy list finding no one that amused me... and I signed off for the final time... Its the final signoff.
