Inspired by the series finale of the show, Supernatural, where the character Castiel confessed his love to his friend, Dean, only to get sent to "super hell" right after. Also under the bury your gays trope.

Person A: OMG Byler is totally going to be confirmed canon in season 5 of Stranger Things!
Person B: Nah, they're totally gonna pull a Destiel and kill off Will.
