This "type" of female is WIDELY misunderstood as being a murderous type of people who will rest at absolutely, positively NOTHING to be the ONLY one with this fictional character/celebrity. They are "known" to write horrible fanfiction, wear shirts and logos of said obessesion, cosplay a lot, and be very unattractive, girly, Terrible spelling and grammar, and an otaku (Japanese person obbessesed with computers and has no social life).
That is a *huge* misconception. There are, yes, many fangirls that give us bad names. Fangirls can be girls who yes, have an obessesion for said person/thing. They consist of watching youtube videos consisting of said person/thing, wearing T-shirts of said obessesion, normal, cosplay sometimes, writing some fanfiction/roleplaying, and read/re-read/watch/re-watch said obbession.

Get the Fangirl mug.Fictional stories written by fans of a book, tv show, celebrity, etc. They are NOT ALL bad and in fact can be very entertaining and fun to read. I myself read fanfics and although some are written by 10 year olds who have shitty writing skill, some, such as After, are very well written and get millions of readers. These fan fictions are usually in categories such as Het, Slash, AU, and such. Fanfics can be found on many websites like Wattpad which is my personal favorite. Fanfics aren't all about SEX SEX SEX and making everyone gay and all of the other things I've read. And it's also not all about the reader making an imaginary life where he/she is in a relationship with he main character. I suggest reading a very good fanfic, preferably one that has been suggested to you by an avid fanfic reader, so that you can decide for yourself if fanfics are your thing or not.

Get the Fanfiction mug.Known for being the most horrifying, disturbing My Little Pony fanfiction ever. Was first posted on 4Chan, then posted on a website called Equestria Daily.
In this fanfiction, Rainbowdash (A character from the popular show My Little Pony: Friendship is magic) goes to see Pinkie Pie (Another character) of whom has told her they were going to do something fun together. Pinkie Pie then proceeds to explain they're going to make Cupcakes.
Upon finding this out, Rainbowdash is force-fed a cupcake that puts her into a deep sleep. When she wakes up, she's tied with her legs spread open. Pinkie Pie then proceeds to cut her friend open in intimate detail, and after she dies bakes her into cupcakes of which she feeds to her friends.

They suffer an absurd affinity for a randomly chosen object of obsession and base their life/daily schedual around it. Not necessarily a male object of interest although this is most common. Can possibly be a clothing line, makeup brand, latest skater look, and stupid-looking-annoyinf flip-flop sandals made out of cheap mesh and spraypaint.
Many young females are obsessed with Juicy, Ambercrombie & Fitch, and Hollister. This is the only line of clothing they will wear. If they are forced to wear something from Dillard's or Taget they suddenly cone down with a squealy, whiney voice and bitch about how *fat* and *ugly* they look. IMMEDIATE REMEDY: tell them to be quiet and go throw up again.
