Much like the Oort Cloud, Oort Editing is when you take scraps of video or film from a shoot and edit it together. Most commonly used on wedding videos to show the bride and groom what happened while they were getting ready and/or shit was hitting the fan. It is very much free form editing and has been made easier by the advent of nonlinear editors

Get the editiovultus phobia mug.adding effects to videos/photos, but you make those effects yourself. for example, if you use pre-made transitions/effects. that’s not real editing. (like capcut or qr code’s on videostar) editing is making your effects/transitions from scratch and adding it to a video/photo. if your using someone else’s qr code’s, you didn’t make that transition/effect, you didn’t edit that transition/effect to get that outcome. therefore using pre-made transitions isn’t editing.
