Dromaeosauridae

A genus of dinosaur that includes species like Velociraptor, Utahraptor, Deinonychus, Dakotaraptor, Microraptor, and other raptors. Most dromaeosaurids were flightless like Velociraptor and Deinonychus, but some were capable of flight like Microraptor and Sinornithosaurus. They can be identified by the large sickle toe on their feet.

Jim: “Yo Tom, did you see that new species of Dromaeosauridae?”

Tom: “Yeah dude, the Bissekty Giant, right?”

Jim: “Actually, they gave it a name. It’s called the Titanoraptor.”
