v. (beet·smith·eeng) : The act of creating sounds by way of audio production or recording audible samples to be placed into a musical track. In short, to make beats. Also, to perform live by blending samples or mixing and arranging various songs into a set or compilation in order to create an original, audible composition.

No DJ gig for me tonight, I'm busy beatsmithing in the studio.

Rhymes & Beats

Rhymes & Beats, some people may know it as ryhthm and blues or slow-rap. It seems like just random rhyming words mixed with very heavy repeating beats. When heard through your neighbors wall, one can quicly reconize the song, not by its words, but by its phat beatz.

Hey man, can you please turn down your Rhymes & Beats! The bass is starting to punch a hole in my wall.
