Catch ya on the wave has the same meaning as Catch ya on the flip side

It basically means you will be seeing the person you are addressing(typically a friend) later on.

William:See ya bruv

When you come onto your opponent's king" from the back, and it's checkmate.

Black player: Bd1#, and it's mate from the back.
White player: dang, good game.
