Snufkin

A Snufkin is a traveler. A vagabond destined to be tied to nobody and nowhere.

The Snufkin we know most about is from the Moomins series by Tove Jansson. He is known to prefer being alone, and doesn’t make many attachments. That is, besides Moomintroll, who he always returns to in the Spring after leaving in the winter.

Snufkin is known for being the embodiment of “be gay, do crime,” as he hates park keepers and constantly wreaks havoc, and is also very gay for his best friend.

Yearning is also a common concept associated with Snufkin.

“You’re an ordinary snufkin, wandering about the world like you do!”
“Wow you really just found to be around and said ‘yep I’m good.’ Okay, Snufkin.”
