Generally accepted as the less popular song of especially a 12" single vynil recording, however in most urban street circles, b-side has come to be known as the more "real" or "true-to-the-streets" recordings of an artist. Ones that are less "main-stream" and less endulging of censors critics and airplay.

A term that refers to a song, coming from the A-side and B-side of a record. The B-side would be the second and less important side, and therefore usually the less popular and worse song. Now, it refers to songs that are either less played or not as good, regardless of recording medium.
That song is B-side.
