Do you know those people who are just way too nice? Positive about everything, giving tons of praise, hyper-aware of social niceties, exceedingly well-groomed, and smiling as they’ve just closed a great deal on something? These people give off saccharine vibes— just too sweet, too nice to be plausible.

A sociopath that uses an artificial, sweet disposition to conceal his/her extremely antisocial behavior and lack of conscience in order to manipulate and torment others.

My new boss tormented Bette all day today, but then sang Bette’s praises in front of the CEO. Bette won’t be able to report the boss’ behavior now; nobody will believe her. My boss is such a saccharine sociopath.
