rites

A word used mainly in northern england, but not just by chavs.

It commonly follows the word "fucking" in order to emphasise the person's point, and means something like "damn straight", "damn right" etc.

An interesting creature often found in the depths of odd conspiracies and yawns infrequent amounts. He is lazy, finds joy in acting autistic but sometimes achieves intellectual peaks for maximum of three seconds a year. He is also very slow: mentally, verbally, and physically.

My guy is like a sloth. He's probably a Rited.

to end a conversation , or to not engage in a conversation your not interested in. Or you can use it sarcastically.

Girl: "Do you wanna. . .
Boy: "Rite"

Boy: "what are you doing ?"
Girl: "Rite"

A way for a baller to enthusiastically ascertain the correctness of the situation.

Jebediah: "Oj brobi! You never guess what me 'n' the boyz did last night."
Demarcus: "Good evening, Jebediah! Please relieve me from the agony of not knowing, in detail, about your shenanigans."
Jebediah: "Me 'n' the boyz made out with Janice!"
Demarcus: "Interesting. Are you referring to Janice from the corner of 3rd and California?"

Rites of Spring

The original emo band. Guy Picciotto, who later joined Fugazi, sings on their self-titled album and the EP All Through A Life (You can get their full discography on a CD, it's called End on End, from dischord.com). Only together for about a year and a half. Absolutely bloody brilliant band.
