The Grateful Dead

A band in the "hippie years" who wrote such songs as Friend of the Devil and Truckin'. Had fanatic followers called Dead Heads.

Grateful Dead

And so what if it isn't a real definition? You can't define them.

If my agnostic\athiestic ass worshipped something, it would most definitely be the Grateful Dead. For all you hippie-haters, I say, DAMN YOU. So what if they were stoners and whatnot? They produced some damn good music, and you'd probably agree if you'd actually listen to it.
Thank you, Jerry, for a real good time.

Grateful Dead

A band that actually worked for a living. They usually toured at least seven months out of a given year. They only released records to make enough money to cover their excessent touring. They are from a bygone era when music was fun and represented freedom, and even though became multi-millionaires, they were never into it for the money or they would have released more polished, accessible albums.
Let's get a twelver and sit on the hill and listen to the Grateful Dead.....dude!

grateful dead

a very popular hippie rock band that kicked ass from 65 to 95 and still kicks ass for any true fans...

music that can be listened to by anybody (not only stoners, psyconauts, and coke heads..) and be highly enjoyed.
Grateful Dead was "a band out on the highway"..
"they high stepped into town"..
"it was a rainbow full of sound"..

"they're a band beyond discription"......

it was "just a box of rain"..
they were "drivin that train, high on cocaine"..

then jerry garcia decided to "leave this brokedown palace"..
and the rest of the group said "fare you well"

Grateful Dead Family

A kindly kinship. A tightly knit though loosely organized group of elders who did and do look after my best interests. All share a common love for the music of Jerry Garcia.
"Hey now, do you have a place to be?
"......Uh...I am looking for my friends but I think they left me here.... I don't know how to get out of here or where to go. They have all my money and the car keys and all....."
"No worries. Come on into our bus, my wife is making Bananna/Spirulina smoothies and cornbread. We have a camping permit as we are vendors. We have an extra pull-out bed you can sleep on tonight and you can find your friends tomorrow".
".......That is really nice of you. Thank you. Am glad to find Grateful Dead family.
