When you introduce a friend from one group to a friend from another group, and they become autonomous friends, no longing requiring your services to hang out. Not necessarily a bad thing, but can be disastrous if left unchecked.

Get the cross-pollinationmug. Figure A and B are brother and sister, or related in some way. Figure A dates or hooks up with Figure C while Figure B goes out or hooks up with figure D. Some time later, Figure C and Figure D hook up as well. This mixing of juices is called Cross Pollination, and is generally looked down upon in a modern day society.
