Portuguese word for "potato".

Potato is a vegetable/betrood, that can be used for many purposes.

To fry, and make the famous "french fries", or just "chips", if you buy them from the supermarket's bags.

To boil, making a delicious, and healthy meal. You can then, mash them, doing mashed potato.

How do you prefer your batata(potato)?
I prefer them fried, in french fries!
